Labourers, carpenter’s helpers, apprentices, and carpenters

Job Summary:

Johnston Builders Ltd. is seeking motivated individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to our construction projects. Opportunities are available for labourers, carpenter’s helpers, apprentices, and carpenters (with potential exposure to other trades as well).

No prior construction experience is required—just a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.

These positions will be based in Teslin and will support the Teslin Community Services Building Project. Both full time and part time opportunities are available.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll work closely with our site superintendent and site team to help keep things running smoothly. This includes:

• Helping and participating with site safety requirements
• Performing general housekeeping and site clean up
• Providing general labour support as required
• Assisting with carpentry tasks such as foundation and framing work, based on your skill level
• Learning new skills and progressing within the trade

What We’re Looking For:

• Reliable, organized, and able to communicate effectively
• A strong team player with a willingness to learn
• Curious, proactive, and collaborative mindset
• A valid driver’s license is considered an asset

Previous construction experience is an advantage, but training will be provided for individuals looking to start a career in construction.
